2008 Cancer Research Workshop

Each summer the Cancer Research Center has sponsored a Fellowship program for students in cancer research.  Part of the program includes a Cancer Research Workshop, a weekly workshop where the students learn about various aspects of oncology.  This year, the workshop is open to all interested faculty members and students.  We invite all to attend and learn more about cancer and the research being done today.  The Workshop will be Thursdays at 10am in room C295 of the Eyring Science Center.  See the 2008 Cancer Research Workshop Schedule.

Rex Lee Run

Each year the Cancer Awareness Group on the campus of Brigham Young University sponsors the Rex Lee Run. Runners not only enjoy a challenging race course, prizes, refreshments, and a T-shirt, but they also enjoy the satisfaction of knowing that they have contributed in the fight against cancer. All race proceeds go to cancer research at the University. The next race will be held March 15 2008. If you want to be a volunteer for the race, come to our volunteers meeting this Thursday, February 7 2008 at 7pm in room 3108 in the Jesse Knight Building (JKB).  Check back later to learn more, and we'll to see you at the starting line!
